The Tactical Realism Mod for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare brings some new, more realistic features to the game like
- Embedded Tactical Realism Rules
- Run and Gun/hip-shooting can set be to off, or you can enable CQC rng by setting the distance and accuracy of allowable RNG.
- Bunny Hoppy/jump shooting not allowed, gun drops to side when you jump.
- Worming, Dolphin Diving are not allowed, changes aim when you drop prone with sites up.
- Nadespam - grenades, flashbang and stun grenade can be disabled for the X number of seconds at the beginning of the round, as well as C4, Claymores and RPG's.
- Fall damage - can be set to kill players that jump from 2nd story or do unrealistic jumps.
- Advanced bleeding and bandaging system
- Gun jams - Jam chance can be set in the config
- Gun can be shot out of your hand if you get hit on the hand or arm
- Leg shots drop the victim prone for a second
- Configurable HUD settings, you can turn on and off anything you like with the HUD
- No crosshairs
- No enemy tags
- No hit indicators
- Pain and Death sounds
- Obituaries can be turned on or off in the config
- TK Obituaries can be turn on or off in the config
- Enemy blips can be turned off/on the minimap
- No Dogtags
- No MG crosshairs
- Display killer messages - tell the player that dies who killed them with what weapon and at what distance
- AFK monitor - automatically kills players in spawn after X number of seconds
- TK monitor - gives a TK'er different messages and auto kicks after X number of TK's on a map
- Spawn Protection - no more people getting knifed at spawn when someone is trying to change their class setup in between rounds
- TRM Death Messages - scrolling messages to players that are dead only, so server messages dont interfere with alive players
- Welcome messages
- Admin Tools (more to be added in future releases)
- Kill Player - Executes a player for crimes against the server.
- Free Player - Manually allow a player to respawn if they are waiting for the time limit of trm_killTKTime to run out
- Switch Team - Forces a player to switch teams
- Cease Fire – Turns on cease fire mode. All players will have their weapons drop until cease fire is turned off
