Steam ID Intro
Every player on Valve software bsed games (counter stike, CS Source, HL2, etc) is given in individual player ID. Valve calls this the "steam ID" and can be used to track/control players on any counter strike network or server.
Steam ID format
Steam ID's are in the following format: STEAM_0:0:1234567
The steam part obviously says its a steam game ID number of the user playing the respective game. This number is UNIQUE to all steam ID's and is used for tracking crackers, hackers, and TKers on server bans. HLSW can easily ban a certain Steam ID in its interface by right clicking, and kick+ban the user you want. If you want their Steam ID to be written to your database of Steam ID's to ban, right click, and ban+WriteID.
