Rcon Functions
The Rcon-Config Part is to activate additional administration options, like receiving the server console, receiving the gamechat, receiving the server banlist, easy map change and finally an integrated IRC-bot.
Rcon Configuration
The Rcon Config part is split into 3 segments: Rcon Password, Rcon Challenge and Receive Serverlog.
At the first Segment, the Rcon Password will be entered and tested for correctness by pressing the Test-button. If it is correct, a green OK will light up at the left side of the Test-button, if it's wrong, a red Bad Rcon. Here you can save your Rcon-password by checking the Save, and hide with *-stars by checking the hide checkbox.
At the Rcon Challenge segment HLSW receives automatically the Challenge Number, which is needed to use rcon-commands, and it gives the opportunity to use the old Rcon-Protocol. With Half-Life Version 1.1.0.6 the new Rcon protocol was installed; for lower Versions you need the old protocol (e.g.. for CS Beta 5.2 Server).
Auto Update Status
The Auto Update Status check activates the automized sending of the "status"-command to the server. By sending the "status"-command you will receive additional information about the players on the server (like e.g. WonID and IP-Address).
The "status"-command will maximum be sent every 5 seconds. It will be performed only if your Rcon-status is OK or Unknown, and only, if there are missing informations from any player.
Get Log Function
The both Receive Server Log-buttons allow, to receive the serverlog. Here are two selfexplaining buttons to click: The Get Log (I-NET)- and Get Log (LAN)-button. The upper button has to be clicked, if the server is administrated via Internet, and the LAN-button for LANs. The Retrieve Log On Mapchange-option allows it, to continue receiving the server log after a mapchange.
