On Connection

Here you can choose, how HLSW should act, when connecting to a gameserver.

• Minimize HLSW to System Tray (No traffic) - This will minimize HLSW to the system tray and HLSW will stop sending data.
• Quit HLSW - This will shut down HLSW.
• Quit & restart HLSW - This will shut down and restart HLSW.
• Do nothing - HLSW will remain in its current condition.

Instant Messenger

IM

This displays the supported messenger services.

Connect

Here you may select the status that will be applied to the selected messenger, when connecting to a server.

Return

Here you may select the status that will be applied to the selected messenger, when disconnecting from a server.

Minimize on connecting

If enabled, all choosen messengers will be minimized, when connecting to a server.

Change away message

Here you can enter your own away-message. It is possible to use HLSW-tags in your away-message. The Default button restores the default away-message.

Cheating-Death

Start Cheating-Death if required

If enabled, HLSW will automatically start Cheating-Death, when connecting to a server that requires Cheating-Death to be activated.

Close Cheating-Death if VSM is active

If enabled, HLSW will automatically shut down Cheating-Death if a server is running VSM (Valve Secure Module).

Dir

Enter the path to the Cheating-Death program or use the Browse button to select the exe-file of the program.

Execute applications

Here you may select applications to be executed when connecting to or disconnecting from a server.

Add

Press the Add button to add an application to the list. Enter the path to the application or use the Browse button. Enter the parameters you want to be used during the execution (optional). The select from the following options:

• (T) Kill all processes on connect - (...?...)
• (C) Execute file on connect - If enabled, the application will be executed when connecting to a server.
• (K) Kill process on return - If enabled, the applcation will be shut down after disconnecting from a server. This option is only available if option (C) is enabled. If enabled, option (W) is unavailable.
• (R) Execute file on return - If enabled, the application will be executed after disconnecting from a server.
• (W) Suspends HLSW until execution is complete - This will suspend HLSW until the executed program is shut down. If the application is started with option (C), HLSW will wait until the application is shut down before it continues to connect to a server. If enabled, option (K) is unavailable.

Change

Select an application from the list and press the Change button to edit the properties of that entry.

Delete

Pressing the Delete button will removed the selected application from the list.
